GO DEEPER: MEASURE AND ORDER
The first tool you will need in your wallpaper project is a measuring tape.
⛔️ Never use a phone app to measure a wall, they are not as accurate as they seem.
WIDTH & HEIGHT
Measure the space you want to cover.
Measure Height vertically, and Width horizotally.
Never work with fractions, round up to the next integer number.
Always add a couple inches to each measurement to stay safe of wall deformations.
Walls are almost never perfectly straight:
Measure Width at top and bottom of the wall, measure Height at left and right edge.
While Width and Height “should” be consistent don’t worry if numbers are 1 - 2 inches off, this means your wall has a small deformation.
MEASURE IRREGULAR SPACES
GOT TEXTURED WALLS?
Not all peel and stick wallpapers are safe when installed over texture. Use only our Long-Term Peel and Stick if your walls are textured or have any irregular finish.
Make sure the wallpaper is suitable for the surface of your wall.
Install on painted walls, clean, and in good conditions, not cracking paint, do not install directly over joint compound. Recently painted walls need to dry for 4 weeks prior a wallpaper install.

This paper is so, so beautiful. It looks absolutely gorgeous on our wall! However, it was incredibly difficult to install. I almost gave up mid-project, but I am glad I pushed through because it looks wonderful - from a distance. If you look closely you can see where I had to create creases and bubbles in order to make the pattern match perfectly. When we laid the paper out on the floor beforehand, everything looked fine, but when we put it up on the wall, we had to drastically stretch and crease to make it work. I am assuming it was just my installation skills that were the problem, but even still, it was so difficult that I will be thinking twice before trying something like this again. But it really is just so beautiful and I’m thankful for the artistry put into the product!
Love the way this mural changed the feeling of my skincare clinic! Makes the ceiling my statement piece.
